T.L.Sea Walnut Shell & Vitamin B Scrub - 95g

£7.15

The Last Drop’s T.L.Sea Walnut shell and Vitamin B Scrub can be used all over the body. It is packed with nutrients for facial skin and works in synergy with the rest of our skin care.

Skin that’s thoughtfully and consciously cared for with ingredients that are equally sustainably sourced paves the way for the building blocks for beautiful, bright skin, hydrated and even in tone.

We use reclaimed British walnut shell in this scrub as a more sustainable physical exfoliant. It’s fairly coarse and only requires light application, that means gentle application evenly across the skin. There’s no need to press hard or scrub…that’s what the scrub is for!

It’s very difficult to deep cleanse pores when they are inflamed and irritated. That’s why the use of masks and scrubs should be left to once or twice a week, maximum. A good daily cleanse is crucial to preparing skin and allowing the benefits of our T.L.Sea walnut shell and vitamin B scrub to do its work which is why we recommend using Clear Water facial cleanser daily. Timing is everything and if you tend to cleanse in the shower we recommend saving this until shampoo and conditioner has been applied to hair so that you can wash away any residue from hair care products and leave the skin care treatments exactly where they should be.

Next up, prep skin with Sea Spray Calming Toner. Not only do we like to follow up our cleanser with this epic tonic but it’s our go to product after activities that leaves us with sweat, dirt and chemicals on the skin or anything that nature has thrown at us whilst catching a few waves, sets at the gym or laps at the pool. Before we’ve even hit the showers, we spritz Sea Spray Calming Toner over the face and neck leaving it to settle.

Sweet almond oil contains the antioxidant vitamin E, it’s loved in skin care for its ability to soothe and replenish skin. It’s non-comedogenic meaning it won’t clog pores. We love sweet almond oil for its ability to protect the regenerative growth of cells. Packed with vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and antioxidants, it’s praised for its ability to reduce stretch marks, scars and wrinkles. Our skin is ageing and needs all the help it can get to protect and thrive against day to day pollution and environmental stressors. Free radicals in the environment bind to skin cells (as well as our bodies creating their own as part of normal biological processes), rendering them damaged and incapable of regenerating healthily. We love a bit of T.L.Sea to massage into thighs and glutes to help heal stretch marks, increase blood flow and leave skin glowing.

It’s also epic as a pre tan buff, where it’s essential to focus on knees, feet and ankles.

Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, from British sources, removes dead skin cells to gently unearth radiant new skin. The particles are big enough to work over deeper enlarged pores sloughing away excess oil. Once a week we like to team this up with Castaway Activated Charcoal and Kaolin Clay Mask whilst soaking in the tub as part of our ongoing healthy skin care regime.

It’s really important to remember that, like with physical exercise and breaking down muscle and tissue to rebuild it, skin needs to be fed and cared for before and after exfoliation. That comes from the inside and out. Stay hydrated. Feed the skin through a great diet. Use weekly spa and skin treatments.

Avocado oil is a skin conditioning agent rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2 & D and triglycerides of oleic acid and other acids. Cold pressed and full of vitamins and Omega-9 fatty acids; they are super beneficial for the body, as they boast anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and have a positive effect on skin disorders. Carrier oils like Persea Gratissima are cold pressed from the fruit. This vitamin and mineral powerhouse calms itchy skin, heals and replenishes dry and chapped skin, helps shield from ultraviolet rays and hydrates and moisturises. Studies have found that monounsaturated fats such as linoleic acid and oleic acid can speed up wound healing.

In addition to avocado, exotic ingredients like frankincense have been used throughout history as far back 1500 BC for a reason.

Frankincense oil is a natural astringent, it’s great for skin whilst it's exposed to the repair process as it heals acne, wounds and imperfections as it works. Work this healing oil into skin as you massage with T.L.Sea Scrub which can really improve the appearance of stretch marks and scarring, creating cells that are strong, plumped and maintain elasticity.

The Boswellic acids kill acne-causing bacteria and microorganisms to prevent spots and acne breakouts.

Stepping into the present, tocopherol sounds like a scary chemical, it is actually the name of eight different forms of vitamin E. It's an old-school antioxidant that occurs naturally in the skin. You find it in foods like spinach, nuts, seeds, and sunflower oil.

Our bodies aren’t truly cared for until we have spent some time to meditate and de-stress. All of our skin and body care is carefully worked with essential oils to give you a sense of that spa-like relaxation, every day. Here, ylang ylang, chamomile, spearmint and mandarin red synergise with the body to reduce anxiety, lowering blood pressure and creating a swell of uplifting moods.

Our skin care is rooted in our relationship with nature. As it gives to us, we give back by caring for our sourcing and taking total responsibility for how we reuse our packaging. Every bottle and tin is taken back as part of our closed loop process. The deposit return system gets you 20p back for every single piece of packaging we collect.
