Our bottles are made from 100% Post Consumer Resin HDPE which come from bottles that have already found their way into our recycling in the past. And 10% of that has already been recycled at least once already!
We need to consider what materials are appropriate for containing sensitive materials, they need to be able to handle transportation, use around the home, multiple cleans and to do so without breaking or damaging.
Likewise our bottles are very light weight so unlike glass they don’t require a heftier amount of energy to get from A to B.
You can also get some of our products in aluminium such as skin care. If our 1 litre products were made out of aluminum the damages would be countless, they dent very easily. Please look after them and use your 1 litre bottles to refill from as much as possible.
It is very important to have a label that stays legible and can cope with getting oils, creams and gels spilt on it so lots of cane sugar / paper films just don’t cut it.
The Last Drop use eco-prospectively designed wood-based face film made from pulp production residues. This sustainable PP film offers a renewable alternative to fossil-based film.
The Forest Film is an ISCC PLUS certified product. ISCC PLUS certified plastic film is produced by using sustainable resources to replace an equivalent amount of fossil resources in the production process.
